This is an extraordinary time to be a design professional–exciting because there is a new awakening of the public to the value of good design and an appreciation of it for its own sake. It is a time of multinational clients and global design practices. This is a time when affordable CADD systems are permitting design professionals to leverage their personal abilities and double their productivity. It is exciting because the technology of construction and the variations on delivery methodologies seem al most limitless.
